Comments: Animals were immunized with a synthetic polypeptide with the sequence LGQGCFGEVWMG corresponding to peptides 276 to 287 of the SRC/YES oncogene (formerly 273 to 284).
Spleen cells were fused with Sp2/0 myeloma cells.
Using immunoblot techniques, the antibody recognizes proteins of 140,000, 70,000, 60,000 and 55,000 daltons.
The IgG1 reactivity of the antibody with the src peptide (276-287) was confirmed by ELISA.
